Railway lunchbox is something you should not miss when visiting Fenqihu. At the center of Fenqihu, Grandma Yahu’s Railway Lunchbox is less than three minutes away from Fenqihu Railway Station, which is quite convenient to go on foot.

Yahu lunchbox has three kinds of main dishes- pork chop, chicken leg and stewed pork, with various side dishes such as gracilaria, retro flavored bean shreds, stewed eggs, plum tender ginger, retro flavored salted turnip, alpine bamboo shoot, alpine cabbage and mini sausage. The side dishes are quite rich, and the meals are freshly made. They are absolutely delicious.

The chicken leg has been stewed for long enough that it tastes tender and delicious.

The stewed pork is neither fat nor thin. It is not greasy but with more retro flavor.

The bamboo shoots harvested from the mountains are sweet and delicious. The jelly fig of Alishan is one of the popular snacks in Taiwan in summer. 

The jelly fig we use is supplied by Aishanwu who won the second place online. The natural jelly fig has a smooth and soft texture.
