When visiting Fenchihu, a must-try is the Railway Bento. Located at the heart of Fenchihu, "Yahu Grandma's Railway Bento" is less than a three-minute walk from Fenchihu Train Station, making it very convenient to get there.
Yahu Bento offers three main dishes to choose from: pork ribs, chicken leg, and braised pork. These are complemented by a variety of side dishes such as shepherd's purse, traditional red bean branches, braised eggs, pickled plums with tender ginger, traditional pickled vegetables, mountain bamboo shoots, mountain cabbage, and pearl sausages. The selection is diverse, and since the ingredients are freshly prepared upon order, they are undoubtedly both fresh and delicious.
The Yahu Mountain Villa's Railway Bento set includes the Railway Bento (with a choice of pork ribs, chicken leg, or braised pork), allowing visitors to select according to their preferences.
▲The pork ribs, while slightly thin, have a large surface area. After being marinated and deep-fried, they are not greasy to eat, and they are full of a rich aroma.
