As the cars on the Ferris wheel rises, things on the ground become smaller and the horizon become broader. This different perspective for viewing the city is a beautiful dream of many.
Designed by a professional Japanese manufacturer at a cost of NT$ 300 million, the Ferris wheel in the Miramar Entertainment Park is 100 meters tall and weighs 600 metric tons and is equipped with 48 cars and 624 neon light tubes. With its three differently themed – sky, earth, and wind – light shows, the Ferris wheel radiates colorful light beams into the Taipei night sky.
As the Ferris wheel goes higher, you will see an entirely different view from day time. Lights of vehicles and the airport together paint the night sky with colors; with neon lights and soft music, the nighttime Ferris wheel emits a charming, irresistible vibe.
