The Fonghuanggu Bird and ecology Park is situated at the foot of the mountain Fonghuang in Lugu, Nantou County.
Located at an altitude of 650-850 meters above sea level, the park covers an area of 30.39 hectares. It is an ecological park for leisure and education, exhibiting numerous native and exotic birds.In recent years, the management has placed special emphasis on the conservation of endemic species. The Park also features a crane museum (Songher Museum),the only one of its kind in Taiwan .
The surrounding area is home to innumerable species of wild birds, insects and reptiles. The nearby mountains get dressed in outfits of different colors as the seasons change. The vegetation along the paths offers visual delight to the visitors.The sudden appearance of fog and clouds due to the changes in terrain will present even bigger surprises.
Visitors can either follow the touring instructions and enjoy watching all kinds of birds, animals and plants or can simply sit back, take a deep breath, enjoy the view and let the fresh air massage their lungs and the tender fog caress their faces. Either as a half-day or a one-day trip, the Fonghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park can be a great choice.

園區體驗活動如下：
1. C區生命演示場—金剛鸚鵡近距離表演：週二至週五 02:00 p.m. - 03:30 p.m. / 例假日 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. / 02:00 p.m. - 03:30 p.m.
2. C區親禽園—小鸚鵡餵食體驗（限額30名）：週二至週五 03:00 p.m. - 03:30 p.m.（限額30名） / 例假日 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. / 03:00 p.m. - 03:30 p.m. （限額20名），請於入園時先至旅客服務中心，向服務人員領取號碼牌。
3. 第一停車場多功能教室—虛擬實境(VR)互動體驗：週二至週日10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. / 02:00 p.m. - 03:30 p.m.

1. Opening Hours: 09:00 a.m.–05:00 p.m. daily
2. To Entry without ticket fee before 10:00 a.m. every Wednesday.
3. Closed on: Chinese New Year’s Eve, the days which the government call off work and school and the other necessary close day with notice.

1.Fonghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park is located at high-intermediate altitude mountain areas. In the case of dense fog, typhoon (Class and work suspension announced by Nantou County government) and poor weather conditions, the park will be closed for safety concerns.
2. For the garden closure due to weather or other irresistible factors, neither refund nor compensation can be made. Please visit anther day.
